Screwdriver repeatedly lands in his face
Gouges and hacks at the man of disgrace
Tearing off muscles from the bones of his chest
Rending his flesh with rage I've been blessed

Chopped off the tongue that told the lies
I spit on him and laugh while he dies
Lying there helpless I throw brick at your head
Starving for violence and now I've been fed

His blood drips from my mouth
I bit his larynx out
Biting off fingers when he tried to push me back

His blood drips from my mouth
I bit his larynx out
Biting off fingers when he tried to push me back
Chopping at his face in hate, I gouge and hack

Crushing the despised

Under my boot I hear your bones crack
So many things that you want to take back
I won't forget and I won't forgive
Not so long as I allow you to live

Chopped off the tongue that told the lies
I spit on him and laugh while he dies
Lying there helpless I throw brick at your head
Starving for violence and now I've been fed

His blood drips from my mouth
I bit his larynx out
Biting off fingers when he tried to push me back

His blood drips from my mouth
I bit his larynx out
Biting off fingers when he tried to push me back
Chopping at his face in hate, I gouge and hack

Crushing the despised

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SONG! The amount of anger he gets of his back just from the first sentance is AMAZING!

    HOLY SHIT!

This song is obviously about hating a someone who's put/caused alot of hatred and anger against yourself. He wants him dead and won't stop at anything until he is satisfyed.

I can definately agree with this part 'cause it's fucking brilliant -

"Under my boot I hear your bones crack So many things that you want to take back I won't forget and I won't forgive Not so long as I allow you to live

Chopped off the tongue that told the lies I spit on him and laugh while he dies Laying there helpless I throw bricks at your head Starving for violence and now I've been fed"

I know how that feels to be this pissed off at someone who's caused nothing but hatred in your life!

"His blood drips from my mouth I bit his larynx out Biting off fingers when he tried to push me back Chopping at his face in hate, I gouge and hack"

    MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Kill 'em all, HA!

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.
