Every New Day Lyrics
Hear the live version from the End Is Here album, the very last track will remain in my heart while you are still alive..
That's was the most solemn and powerful "Amazing Grace" and "Silent Night" I ever heard in entire life.
God Bless FIF, where ever they are right now, U want them to know how much they touched my life in the time I needed it the most...I'm so happy I was given the chance to listen to their song, by GOD's GLORY it happened.
I wish I was also there when they were performing it.
I love them, I Love GOD!
FIF is my favorite band in the entire universe! This song is my absolute favorite song by them and favorite song of all time.
This song represents growing up. Things as a child are so easy and you feel as if you could fly or do anything your heart desires. When you begin to grow up and as you mature, life presents more difficulty, burdens, and stress. Through those difficulties, nothing can help you except for God. He can make you feel like you can do anything, like when you were a child. He can make "every new day feel so new."
Hearing this song played live by FIF was the most spiritual experience that I've ever had. Seriously.

thanks!
thanks!
btw, we just looked at the poem The Tyger by William Blake in school today and I was surprised to see that some of the words were the same or similar to some words in this song.
Line 5 of the poem, "In what distant deeps or skies", matches FIF's line: "Through distant deeps and skies, behind infinity, below the face of Heaven, he stoops to create me."
And lines 17 and 18, "When the stars threw down their spears,/And watered heaven with their tears," match the same words in this song.
Just thought I'd point it out. But it's a great song, imo. :)
In William Blake's Songs of Innocence and Experience, the poems are written in sets - one from the point of view of innocence, and one from experience. I think he refers to the Tyger here so that we see this as a song of innocence, written at the beginning of life- he finishes the song with On Distant Shores which is a song of experience, written near the end of life after struggling

This song represents life to me. It says to me a life even if it seems unsavable can be saved by the power of God. Its a beautiful song.
This has to be one of the most meaningful songs that i listen too. FIF is aweseme... especially with this great song
this is my favorite five iron song and one of my all time favorite songs. in my opinion it's the best and most in depth song five iron has ever done. it's a beautiful song that really touches me every time i listen to it
to me...this song really just seems like life. it's deep. and i love listening to it. it's just...i dunno what i am trying to say here, nm. it's an amazing song, but it's also upbeat and everything so it makes it easy to listen to. it's something i put on when i am sad or not satisfied with something.
this is an amazing song..FIF writes the best ska songs..this is one of their serious songs
I see it as being about how God is easy to accept when you're a child, when you even believe you can fly if you tried enough. Every spark of light is amazing and new... as you get older, problems pile upon you and God is harder to accept. This is a call for God to help him be that child again, see every day as new... and feel like he can soar once again.
