Stein’s Theme Lyrics

Rising up against this wickedness
And un-phased by your endless myths
Hands all around reach to slow him down
He’s all about this sound

We aren’t playing by your rules
We’ll never play the fool
So, no, you cannot take what’s inside of me

Al about the sound from way out
He’s got the scars just to prove he’s “down”
No apologies to confuse his brain
This argument is sustained

He’s walking, non-stopping out of the shadows
Sounds of the new – he’s got a look in his eye
(that says) There’s something more than you’re feeding him
He’s not afraid to say… no
You’re talking, non-stopping echoing voices
But nothing you said made a dent in my head
I’m hearing you fearing him ‘cause he’s not afraid
He’s not about bowing down to what you say

You hate us ‘cause we’ll never go away
And like some sort of fungus we’re growing everyday
And our knuckles aren’t dragging so I guess that leaves to say
Our message isn’t stopping until you drag us all away

Hear the silent ignorant voices spew;
“You’re all a pack of disoriented youth”
He lives to see the day those vices end
But until then I’ll send this…

Off to you

There's a movement brewing among some of the young, among some of the new christians who are begining to realize that both killpop and proto and nofamelost are right: jesus was never about religion. Unfortunately, most of the mainstream still thinks that he was. I see the song as this: stein wants to follow JESUS, not christianity, not the church, but JESUS. he gets crap for that from EVERYONE, from satan, from the media, from the "secular" (man i hate that word) world, and even from his mainstream church. Read the new testament: the people jesus had the most problems with (including being the people that killed jesus) were the heads of the religion. Jesus didnt like the church. Hm. go figure.

Tells of how Satan will try to confuse you but how we will endure till the end and he'll never get rid of us.

also talks about how no one can talk away how he feels for god and about his faith.

No doubt this song is about Satan, Devil, Lucifer, Dark Angel what ever you want to call him. Im glad some band is finally bad mouthin Satan and all his lies. I have faith in Jesus and I've heard songs by Metallica and Slayer dissin on Jesus its time we start dissin on Satan!

lol, maybe destroying him with our witness is also effective but doesn't get a whole lot of publicity, or atleast i've never seen it on the news so its not a new thing, just an old idea in a new direction...

You all have a good point, but that fails to satisfy the song's endinging.

"Hear the silent ignorant voices spew; 'You’re all a pack of disoriented youth'"

This song goes out, also, to the older generations who look down on us b/c we are loud, pierced and tattooed. We are a passionate generation and as Christians, we are rocking the boat in our churches. It's like the older Christians are trying to stop of from being who God's called us to be. Telling us to play softer music and dress and behave a certain way.

But I think you guys are right, that this song is directed towards Satan. Truth be told, it directed towards anyone who stand in our way of living for Christ and being who He made us to be.

This song is not about "satan". I think this is talking about about people finally seeing through religion. The third verse is talking about how Jesus was/is never about religion. By the way; TippMann, Metallica and Slayer f***ing rock.

Killpop ur an idiot they never said jesus isnt about religion in the third verse... it says he lives to see the end of these vices, in other words the end of our elders telling us what to do, and not to make our religion our own, but to worship exactly like evryone else, like nofamelost said. And if you're not talking about the last verse, but the longest paragraph, then you're an idiot, because thats one of the bridges. And slayer sucks, and metallica's only good song is enter sandman, and isnt all THAT fantasctic anyways.
That being said, I don't think this song about satan, at least not totally directed toward him. It's about ANYONE who tries to end christianity, stop it, stand in its way, whatever. Kinda like what nofamelost said, once again. Which i guess satan sends our way, so technically you could say its against satan. I think i could safely say its against evil in its entirity lol. Umm yea thats about all, great song, great CD, great band, great music, god bless.
