Good bizkit song, but kinda seems like it was made more to make a track than have an actual meaning. Good lyrics however with, "So go ahead and talk shit Talk shit about me". I think everyone can relate to that lyric, unless your a hermit, but even than, you got people talking about you, ah look what I've gone and done and ramble on...

I saw Bizkit live at Summer Sanatarium with Metallica and to me, this song is like "this is who we are, go get the f%^# over it. It's our time now!"
yeah im a teenager and iim in a band and everytime my grandparents give me shit about whats supposively my fault in the world i just wanna play this song and blast it till they leave. although the grandparents on my dads side r cool but my moms parents are old fashioned haha
wow, this song completely steals from the who's "my generation" both in the general subject matter and even goes so far as to include the g-g-generation stutter from the original who song. the only difference in this song is the profanity which doesnt bother me in and of itself but i hardly think that makes it creative or original.

imho generally it's simply about how the older generations always complaining about the following generations, specifically how the baby boomer's generation was complaining about generation x.. the song itself has references from the boomer's generation and generation x (limp bizkit's generation), with the title itself referencing The Who's song from the 60s, with lyrics referencing Guns N Roses' song from the 80s, and Spice Girls' from the 90s, and even mentioning pop culture reference like titanic (because the movie was big then).. for me personally, it's ironic because currently it's the generation x people that are constantly complaining about my generation, the generation y (or as they like to call us: "millennials").. but that's why I love this song, it's actually has a deeper meaning, unlike most of Limp Bizkit's other songs.. I'm sure my generation will soon enough start complaining about the generation z, it's an endless cycle.

I feel as if the Boomers are complaining about all of us now. I can’t speak for all of Gen X, and I’m sure there are Xers complaining like you said. But I feel the majority of us side with the younger generations.
