Maybe he just saw it on a map and thought it was a funny name and decided to write a song about it. Or he had a bad experience there or something....probably something completely different, I don't know, I'd like to know too. I LOVE how, on Ben's solo version, the song explodes into a disco 1/2 way through the song...makes it like 10 times better.

i read once, somewhere... that Ben dated a girl from Kalamazoo (WMU... Gold Company if I remember right). They broke up. Sounds messy.
