Goddamn your righteous hand

I eat innocent meat
The housewife, I will beat
The pro-life, I will kill
What you won't do, I will
I bash myself to sleep
What you sow, I will reap
I scar myself, you see
I wish I wasn't me
I am the little stick
You stir me into shit
I hate, therefore I am
Goddamn your righteous hand

Goddamn (ooh, Lord)
Goddamn (ooh, Lord)
Goddamn (ooh, Lord)
Goddamn (ooh, Lord)

Pseudo-morals work real well
On the talk shows for the weak (goddamn)
Selective judgment, good guy badges
Don't mean a fuck to me (goddamn)

I throw a little fit
I slit my teenage wrists
The most that I can learn
Is in records that you burn

Get your gun
Get your gun
Get your gun
Get your gun

Pseudo-morals work real well
On the talk shows for the weak (goddamn)
Selective judgment, good guy badges
Don't mean a fuck to me (goddamn)
Pseudo-morals work real well
On the talk shows for the weak (goddamn)
Selective judgment, good guy badges
Don't mean a fuck to me (goddamn)

I am the VHS
Record me with your fist
Want me to save the world
I'm just a little girl

Pseudo-morals work real well
On the talk shows for the weak (goddamn)
Selective judgment, good guy badges
Don't mean a fuck to me (goddamn)
Pseudo-morals work real well
On the talk shows for the weak (goddamn)
Selective judgment, good guy badges
Don't mean a fuck to me (goddamn)

Get your gun
Get your gun
Get your gun
Get your gun
Get

I don't know if this has already been posted, but I thought this song was about an abortionist named Robert A. Gunn (hence the mispelling of gun) Mr. Gunn gave women abortions and was eventually killed by a Christian who opposed abortion. This perspective makes a lot of since in context with the lyrics

"I eat innocent meat"- unborn children "The pro-life I will kill"- the "pro-life" is the name for the people who oppose abortion "What you sow I will reap"- the babies are what is sowed, they are reaped through abortion. The chorus is about the hypocrisy of Christians being morally against murder, but then turning around and murdering people, i.e. Mr. Gunn. The rest of the lyrics don't exactly deal with abortion per se, but they deal with the overall theme of being anti-Christian and the struggle it is having to put up with their shit day in and day out. They also deal with the "guilt?" and other feelings that someone who performs abortions may feel about himself, the world, life in general, etc... Also this idea is hinted at in the album artwork, where the lyrics to this song is writter are images of coathangers, which are the tools used for household abortions not performed by a medical physician.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
