to me it sounds like.. hes had a hard time right.. and now he sees hope in putting faith in this person that can save him.. but hes putting everything into them.. so either hell be saved or theyll drop him.. and hell lose everything he had left. i donno.

Haven't heard this cd in a year since today, and i fell in love with it. This song is a great one, and it's just about completely losing out, being dropped to the floor, having nothing left to lose
I THINK THAT DAVEY WAS MISERABLE ABOUT SOMETHING WHEN HE WROTE THIS SONG. HE NEEDED SOMEONE TO HELP HIM OVERCOME HIS MISERY. (ONE OF MY FAVORITES).
best AFI song in my opinion...first time i heard it i had to go buy the cd... i think its about losing everything and giving up and having one person who can get him through it and give him hope
