I had a heart
But I buried it someplace
I had a brain
But my body won the race
I dream in pictures
Pictures of you
A figure of eight
Just won't do
Oh yeah
Oh yeah
You picked the fruit
That gave you a sweet taste
You walk the tightrope
Unwilling to see straight
You pick me up
Then you pull me down
Made up your mind
That I'm the clown
Oh yeah
Oh yeah
Accidentally
We talked about the past
Accidentally
We talked about the past
Accidentally
We talked too much
"Was it magic
That redefined
The missing link
To blow your mind?"
You had a dream
And you thought it religious
You had a taste
And it made it contagious
It rips you up
Then it spits you out
Makes you know
What it's all about
Oh yeah
Oh yeah
Accidentally
We walked away too fast
Accidentally
We walked away too fast
Accidentally
We took too much
"Was it magic
That redefined
The missing link
To blow your mind?"
Accidentally
We talked about the past
Accidentally
We talked about the past
Accidentally
We talked about the past
Accidentally
We took too much
Oh yeah
Oh yeah
Oh yeah
Oh yeah
"Was it magic
That redefined
The missing link
To blow your mind?
Was there tragedy
In the things we did
Now I know
There's no place for it."

Most likely about a one night stand where one person was just after sex and the other thought they'd met their soulmate.

There is nothing else in the entire world like Curve. They are unique, and brilliant. This is one of the defining songs of the 90s amongst those in the know and this should have been the direction that British music followed, not the joke ridden teen pop BritPop.

"Accidently we talked about the past" could either mean that awful habit of telling new people all about your crappy ex's which is a stupid thing to do, or it could be dredging up old arguments, which is always fun.

Techno Ted
Audioslave
Techno Ted may be a person who caused Chris incredible emotional pain & trepidation as well as moments of peace & happiness but now is removed and awaiting his fate. Darling may be a different person who is also free of him and can live her life free of Ted's tyranny. "In between all the laughing, and daydreams ... lies: a desert of truth" Lies are like a desert or the omission of Truth: Where there were Lies then Truth was absent. The song, "Techno Ted", may be a cathartic celebration of the downfall of this person.

Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.
