Brownie Bottom Sundae Lyrics
this is a really great song to listen to
yeah this song is class, the lyrics are cool too. probably means something about being dragged into being part of a group you dont fit in to and want out. either that or a relationship that is making you really unhappy and wanting out without hurting any feelings. after all this is on one of AFI's 1st albums where they were proper punks, and not gothic.
I feel like this a lot. It seems that life itself drags me into some type of mental darkness and you can't escape. Kinda like quicksand. A great song indeed and one of my favorites on 'Answer That and Stay Fashonible'.
it's like you're trapped with some people that you thought were "cool" (?) and then you realize they only brought you in where they are to mess with you and now you want to get away because they're only going to fuck you up. donno. not to bright right now.
I think this song is along the lines of feeling trapped in a relationship and wanting to get out. I really like the verse melody on this one.
This was probally just about a bad relationship, thought afi dosnt really write love songs, it could just be a hate song. It's amazingly sad, and beautiful. He just needs to get out....
this is the last of the 3 i know/heard the story behind. it was supposedly written in a denny's after eating a brownie bottom sundae
i think hes addicted to thegreat taste of these!
great song i dont think the denny's thing is true though haha
I dont think its about a relationship, and i dont believe that dennys bull shit, adam did come up w/ the name (maybe it was geoff but im pretty sure it was adam) I guess i can only state the obvious and go on the surface and say its about deep depression b/c i really dont know
I think it might have something to do with satan, sinning, and stuff like that.
Adam did come up with the title lol
It seems to me that the song is about being dragged down by "satan" the line-
"Hope I can leave here, leave here with my soul." Convinces me.
Maybe being evil is as good as a brownie bottom "sundae"?
