I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Before insulting anybody, please learn how to spell. As for the song's meaning, it IS about the Wizard of Oz.
The only thing i can say is... every time i hear this song it hits me hard. I used to stay with my grandparents as much as could, and now they are gone. 98% of the rest of my family either lives overseas or is gone (/the equivilant to gone). The ONE place i ever felt at home at was my grandparents place. I want to go home but i can't. It technically doesn't exist anymore. So the best thing i can say is pretty much the old saying... Home, is where ever you make home. I could elaborate further but i think yall get the general idea. At any rate, I'm down to a few choices here: either this was made strictly for wizard of oz. Or this was made for said movie and also contains a possible deeper meaning. or its however your heart desires to take it... just dont let the song drive you to be depressed (if your in my shoes to whatever degree). Idk if i will ever post here again but for what it is worth i will say this much... i feel that every song has a reason, how we apply it... is totally up to us.
