I Woke Up L.A. Lyrics
I woke up L.A.
Then I went to sleep
I saw so many things
I know that you saw too
I walked a thousand miles
In clothes that children made
I felt so many things
I know that you felt too
Please forgive me,
You know I lost my mind
Please forgive me,
You know I lost the time
To say I love you
I woke up L.A.
Maybe it's a dream
To be with those who play
Dress up, make believe
I flew a thousand miles
On wings that children made
With all the things you get
When you don't have anything
Please forgive me,
Cause I forgot my lines
Please forgive me,
While I still have time
Just to say you love me,
yeah say you love me
I woke up L.A.
To sound the siren song
Everything is great
And everything is wrong
I flew a thousand miles
On wings that children made
Yeah it's the thing you get
When you don't want anything
Then I went to sleep
I saw so many things
I know that you saw too
I walked a thousand miles
In clothes that children made
I felt so many things
I know that you felt too
You know I lost my mind
Please forgive me,
You know I lost the time
To say I love you
Maybe it's a dream
To be with those who play
Dress up, make believe
I flew a thousand miles
On wings that children made
With all the things you get
When you don't have anything
Cause I forgot my lines
Please forgive me,
While I still have time
Just to say you love me,
yeah say you love me
To sound the siren song
Everything is great
And everything is wrong
I flew a thousand miles
On wings that children made
Yeah it's the thing you get
When you don't want anything

I can help! "Stab me in the back And watch the midget porn I want to crash a Rolls Into a swimming pool I want to hang with Mick Before he gets too old I got some free CDs But I had to sell my soul."
Hope that helps! This comes from listening to the song 8 million times.
I thought it was " say you love me" not "to say I love me". I know the first verse is " to say I love you", it would make sense for him to say " say you love me" next. He's talking about the inability they had telling eachother those words.
