Man in a Suitcase (The Police cover) Lyrics
I'll invite you back to my place.
it's only mine because it holds my suitcase.
seems like home to me alright,
but it's a hundred miles from yesterday night.
must I be the man in a suitcase?
is it me, the man with the stranger's face?
must I be the man in a suitcase?
is it me, the man with the stranger's face?
another key for my collection.
I'll call for security, I'll wait for my connection.
bird in a flying cage, you'll never get to know me well.
the world's my oyster, my hotel room - my prison cell.
must I be the man in a suitcase?
is it me, the man with the stranger's face?

is it me, the man with the stranger's face?
I'll invite you back to my place.
it's only mine because it holds my suitcase.
it looks home to me alright,
but it's a hundred miles from yesterday night.

AFI played this song how it should have been played in the first place.

This song is freakishly catchy. Gotta love it.
AHAHA. i asked adam about this, and he said it was because jade was such a big police fan. which, i mean, i can understand. haha.
jade wasn't even in the band when this song was made. it's a pretty good song tho. it was on the wingnut version of answer that and stay fashionable. it is prolly the only ska song AFI ever made.
this is a ja ja jam goldfinger did a cover of this song too and i think it's better than this version not that this one is bad it's just not afi you know
