lol, i agree about the similarities to Blaze Of Glory, its the wild west thing, but it hasnt actually got nethin to do with Blaze Of Glory, as that was written specifically for Young Guns II. this was because of Jons obsession with all things cowboy. hence his first son being called Jesse James!

@torrance21 Jesse James Bongiovi huh? Also, Blaze Of Glory essentially originated from Wanted Dead Or Alive. That’s what the people from Young Guns II originally wanted, but Jon said “No, but I’ll get back to you.” (Probably because Young Guns had nothing to do with being a rock star.) Hence, they used “Billy Get Your Guns” and “Blaze Of Glory” for the end credits. :P

Because of this song, iv almost written a novel based on the song's theme! I cant wait to finish it! Brilliant song! Jon had this wild infatuation about the wild west and no wonder it sticks out in the album! The acoustic guitar buildup is so genius! Richie is a legend! lOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!

It's about standing your ground. You don't back down and even though you are scarred you will eventually win the fight. Could be a good prequel to Blaze of Glory
