in my humble opinion i think this song has deep meanings, but i could be wrong. i think that this song is about maybe getting all you wanted but not really enjoying it. "With the right drapes, the right paints The right frames, this could really work " i think this could point at maybe the things about him that if he had them maybe he'd be happy, like maybe he's not the right person to have this so if he had the right things, then maybe things would work. "What a great day to spend indoors" maybe talking about what a great day to think about himself, inside and out. all of this may point at being mildly happy, then the wake up happens and things go wrong. aka "In a hail of sparks And a tangle of wires Everything went wrong" So where has all the day gone? And why are my lungs aching when I breathe? theres a pain inside him that maybe it hurts to live? breathe? Is there something wrong with the heat? Why am I so cold? pointing to inside him he feels so cold and his refernceing it to a house such as whats wrong with the heat. And my heart feels sick And it hurts when I speak And this is not what I hoped for same as before maybe pointing to hurting to live or something along those line. the thing is this song could be deep, and it also could not, i think its refrenced to a new house and himself. maybe i have this wrong, oh well, tell me what you think. |

this song was on a cd that was never offically released. The CD from the John Peel Sessions released on Jan 19, 1999 the listing is hung over as the queen in maida vale 1. monheim 2.chart #3 3.steve reich this lyric being chart # 3. only way you'd prob get this is off a website or off a downloading program. Doubtful you'd find the cd. never know though. |

im not sure but that (that's all you get fuckers) i think is sung the the background. If you listen close you'll hear it, atleast i think you can, you know i might be imagining it. If you listen to(from the cd version) after 2:43 til about 2:57 i think is when that is said. but i don't know for sure, just trying to help out. tell me what you all think. |
