I am thinking this song is perhaps inspired by the movie "The Girl Next Door". The line "so what's the craziest thing you've done lately?" is a clip directly from that movie. The girl in it is definately crazy and sometimes destructive but that's part of her charm. She teaches the male character to be more open and crazy himself, which is something he needed. They both learn from each other. The movie is not what you'd expect but soo good! :) |

This is basically a break up song. This relates to my situation so much right now. My boyfriend ALWAYS said I was his best friend and would always want to be, that even if/when we broke up we'd still be good friends. When he broke up he said much the same. Now he is always on and off with me and can be very cold. It's like he's breaking my heart all over again cause I still care about him and wish we could be good friends again. :(
So to me, it's about breaking up, and how he will say all these empty promises to you, but in the end, he won't stay true to them. |

i think this song is about two people who have been wronged, had many failed relationships that were probably horrible the whole way through, or ended badly. I feel I can realy relate to this song and it gives me hope that I might one day find my match too. I think these two people found each other and realized that they had the same fears of commitment and love because of how they had been hurt in the past, but they are working through it together. They feel complete with each other and are each other's "heaven on earth". Thus you could almost touch heaven right there in front of you. This is an amazing song and I think this version is way better than the orinigal. It has so much more feeling to it. |

People take this stuff waaayyy too seriously, she is just voicing something that I am sure many girls have experienced. I have been curious about that sorta stuff, but that doesn't mean I am gay, I just wonder about it and would probably try it sometime.
You know, I guess it is cheating but it was one of those accidental things, plus really, I don't think people see that as cheating as much as it was with the opp sex, stupid i suppose but it's true.

I love love love this song. It became one of my favourites the first time I heard it. It's so beautiful. I totally relate to the line "and she loves the lies they say". I think this song is all about the lies in this life. Some are beautiful, some are terrible. I'm not sure about the first verse, but the second verse seems to be about how the passion and dreams have gona away these days. The world is brining him down and there is no point in even trying to be heard, no one seems to care. The next bit is about how the mother is with her husband because she can't speak up and break free of him. She is scared and maybe thinks she doesn't deserve better. Besides that she wants someone to be with, and if she breaks it off she will be alone and she doesn't want to be. The last bit is the same idea. The person loves the way the fake love makes him/her feel. It makes her feel special even though it's fake. And for all these situations the dreams and hopes and passion is being lost in the lies the live. |
