These Are the Days Lyrics
The more I talk,
The less I say
When the words get in the way
Lonliness is so hard
Lonliness is so hard
Ordinary, I confess
Living under house arrest
Maybe I belong here
Maybe I belong
Suddlenly there's beauty in
The way my heart is caving in
And every scar reminds me how
I can't deny
These are the days that last forever
A time in my life I won't surrender
For better or worse, these are the days
In my life, I've loved no other
We all have pain
We all have suffered
For better or worse, these are the days
I will remember
The more I learn,
The less I know
The final act of letting go
Of everything that life takes
The reason why my heart breaks
Suddenly there's comfort in
The way the world comes crashing in
And every year reminds me I'm alive
Tonight
These are the days that last forever
A time in my life I won't surrender
For better or worse, these are the days
In my life, I've loved no other
We all have pain
We all have suffered
For better or worse, these are the days
I will remember
The more I talk,
The less I say
When the words get in the way
Lonliness is so hard
Lonliness is so hard
Ordinary, I confess
Living under house arrest
Maybe I belong here
Maybe I belong
These are the days that last forever
A time in my life I won't surrender
For better or worse, these are the days
In my life, I've loved no other
We all have pain
We all have suffered
For better or worse, these are the days
I will remember
I will remember

The less I say

i cant beleive no one has posted for this song yet...its such an awesome song...its practically a teen anthem! its about wanting to stay how you are, about how when you grow older you will remember as the best years of your life.its awesome (it could also be about marriage "for better or worse these are the days" get it?..it probably has a duel meaning) i mean last night i went to a concert they were headliners for and they played this song and the lead singer even said "this is for all you teens, this is your life, these are the days you will remember, these are the days!" but this is a fucking awesome song!
I agree, this is an awesome song and I was instantly attached to it when I heard it. As for the meaning I see this as one of the "up" points of life. After you have been down in the dumps and you're it is finally coming around. The way he puts that "We all have pain, we all have suffered" it just makes me believe he is finally getting over pain, over suffering and he is realising that isn't how you should live life. There is always beauty even when things are at their worse and he now sees that and won't give up that he has been here, he has existed and to exist can be a beautiful thing.
i totally agree
This song IS a teen anthem. As a teen, growing up, "the more you learn, the less you know." Life gets jumbled up. Take a step back and look at your life. For better or worse, these will be the days you look back at and say "Damn, I miss those days."
The first time I heard this song I connected with it instantly. "Suddlenly there's beauty in The way my heart is caving in" Just love that line. Yeah, it is a teen anthem. That wraps up a lot of the feeling of being a teenager. So much different feelings and confusion as to what to do. Great song.
I definitely agree it's a teen anthem. I fell in love with this song the first time I heard it. I think it says "Every TEAR reminds me I'm alive" though.
i believe that this song was written to kind of give u hope if it's a bad time in ur life right now. cuz later on when ur old you'll always remember this time of ur life, whether it was bcuz u were in a bad spot or if it was one of the best times of ur life, u'll remember it just for that reason. "these are the days..." and also u could look at things in a way that it's amazing at how bad things could get and u can kinda see the beauty in it. XD
My favorite lines are: Suddenly, there's beauty in The way my heart is caving in And every scar reminds me how I can't deny.
I love them and I have no clue why! Song ROX pink and black socks!
I think its about a break up and moving on! The following lines show the pain of the break up: "Suddlenly there's beauty in The way my heart is caving in And every scar reminds me how I can't deny"
In the Chorus shows the pain he's in! "These are the days that last forever A time in my life I won't surrender For better or worse, these are the days In my life, I've loved no other We all have pain We all have suffered For better or worse, these are the days I will remember"
The ending shows his pain that he feels he belong in being lonely. "Lonliness is so hard Ordinary, I confess Living under house arrest Maybe I belong here"
After hearing the chourus he's going to remember everything and try to move on!
