I don't get why they say they want to kiss a girl and a boy...are they bi? Or just curious? :P I love this song it's so provocative!

No they're not bi curiouse :P my friend heard in an interview that it's just about them just wanting to be spontaneouse. It's off their second album so it's about their lives as celebrities now and it's just them basically being random. See ya 'round xx

The beginning of the song seems like it's about a girl who is really attracted to someone and wants to hook up with them. I think it's her first time being this close to the person and it excites her and makes her wanting more. I say someone because it's not clearly defined if it's a boy or a girl she's with because they sing "I wanna kiss a girl" and "I wanna kiss a boy" so it could be either sex. The song could also be sort of an experimentation because she wants to know what it feels like to kiss either sex. She's curious and wants to see all of her options.

the beat to this song is soooooooo dancey. it makes me feel like its at a club and your just wanting to hook up with someone.

I think actually the bridge is a metaphor. I wanna kiss a girl may mean that she wants to do something different, try something new. Then back to I wanna kiss a boy, she wants to go back into her comfort zone. And so on.

i heard in a interview with them that they said there are many differnet meaning behind this song for young people it could mean just dancing in the dance floor for teenager it could mean more for the older people it could mean something complete differrent thing they said everyone will have a diffrent meaning behind this song they just wanted to have fun with this song

My friend banned her seven year old daughter from buying the album because of this song, she didn't think it was appropriate that a seven year old runs around the house singing "I wanna kiss a boy, I wanna kiss a girl" My gut feeling with this song is that it is very sexually suggestive just by the chorus and some of the lines in the verses so I can understand why my friend banned the song from her daughter.

You can interpret it how you like. Jess: We have boyfriends. It's not necessarily saying "I want to kiss a girl". It's about doing what you want. Lisa: Obviously people are going to latch on to it because it's controversial. We like people to be open-minded. It shouldn't be a big deal. Who cares? Anyone with a problem with that needs to sit down and have a good think about how closed their minds are. I do understand if parents don't want their young kids to listen to that song.

I really, REEEALLY love this song! And if by 'I wanna kiss a girl', they mean it literally, that's their business + I'd support themm. I think it's just about.. being at a club and doing what you want to do without thinking it through loads first. Or maybe that's how they want to live their whole lives :)

The veronicas are hot.i would take them both on the floor,or in the bedroom or... AHEM anyway yes this is a good song.
