I Monster – Daydream in Blue Lyrics | 12 years ago |
Apparently someone replaced the lyrics with a completely different song... here ae the correct lyrics Daydream, I fell asleep amid the flowers, for a couple of hours, on a beautiful day. Daydream, I dream of you amid the flowers, for a couple of hours, such a beautiful day. I dream a dirty dream of you baby You're crawling on the bathroom floor, You float around the room and you're naked, Then you're flying out the bedroom door, I dream a dirty dream I dream a dirty dream Daydream, I fell asleep amid the flowers, for a couple of hours, on a beautiful day. Daydream, I dream of you amid the flowers, for a couple of hours, such a beautiful day. I dream a dirty dream of you baby You're swingin' from the chandelier I'm climbing up the walls 'cause i want you but when I reach ya, you disappear, I dream a dirty dream I dream a dirty dream I daydream (x4) Daydream, I fell asleep amid the flowers, for a couple of hours, on a beautiful day. Daydream, I dream of you amid the flowers, for a couple of hours, such a beautiful day. Daydream, I fell asleep amid the flowers, for a couple of hours, on a beautiful day. Daydream, I dream of you amid the flowers, for a couple of hours, such a beautiful day. Daydream, I fell asleep amid the flowers, for a couple of hours, on a beautiful day. Daydream, I dream of you amid the flowers, for a couple of hours, such a beautiful day. |
Puscifer – Man Overboard Lyrics | 12 years ago |
I agree 100%. They havent let me down yet. This song is prety damn epic. not sure if it's meant to be literal or not, but if you take it literally you can see really put yourself in the ship captain's shoes. Great song. |
Nine Inch Nails – God Given Lyrics | 13 years ago |
In my opinion... I don't think the song has much to do with christianity. Anyone who knows anything about the setting of Year Zero knows that there is no longer any seperation of church and state. Instead Church and State now are the same. So in reality, this song could be about the new government that was established. The religious government. |
Tool – Rosetta Stoned Lyrics | 13 years ago |
I'm going with a combination of taking the drugs AND being abducted. Rather then just hallucinating about it. |
Dommin – My Heart Your Hands Lyrics | 14 years ago |
Saw these guys over the weekend. They were one of the opening bands for HIM. Really good band. |
Nine Inch Nails – Meet Your Master Lyrics | 14 years ago |
It's Torture, Execution, and overthrow of someone who was a leader. "Bow down in position, agaisnt the polished steel" Kneeling execution style pressed up against the barrel of a gun. The rest of the song tells of possible torture to said leader, overthrowing him, possiblity of a "trial" of sorts in regards to the lyrics "Maybe we'll show some mercy, maybe you'll get what you deserve" |
Tricky – Excess Lyrics | 14 years ago |
These lyrics have been butchered... |
Marilyn Manson – Arma-Goddamn-Motherfuckin-Geddon Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Fuck the goddamn TV And the radio, And fuck makin' hits, I'm taking credit for the death toll. ^^^ Some of the best lyrics ever from Manson... |
Marilyn Manson – Pretty as a ($) Lyrics | 15 years ago |
First. Great song. More about someone who would do anything for someone else who may be a particularly ruthless person. |
Marilyn Manson – Devour Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Great song, but I hate how it just cuts off at the end. and I think mosama has the description perfect. |
Nine Inch Nails – The Good Soldier Lyrics | 15 years ago |
First part is from a civilian's point of view, not being able to beleive whats going on around him. Second part is from the Soldiers point of view trying to convince himself that he is doing the right thing. |
Metallica – The End Of The Line Lyrics | 15 years ago |
WOWOMG, You are thinking of the breakdown in the middle of The Four Horsemen on Kill em All. Hope that helps. New CD kicks ass! |
Apocalyptica – I'm NOT Jesus Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Definately about a Priest who abuses a child. |
A Perfect Circle – Magdalena Lyrics | 16 years ago |
The song is about a stripper, not a prostitute. With a prostitute, he would get what he wants by throwing his money down. With a stripper he does not. |
Serj Tankian – Lie Lie Lie Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Interesting interpretations regarding the government and politics, etc etc. However, every Serj song doesn't have to have Political undertones. This one is a perfect example of that. This song has got to be about a guy having a sexual relationship with his sister, then with her being so ashamed of what they have done together, he fooled her into thinking they will commit suicide together (take my hand and lets end it all), however he does not jump with her, hence him saying Lie Lie Lie as she fell. |
Marilyn Manson – If I Was Your Vampire Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Some of the lyrics are wrong. The entire CD booklet is on www,marilynmanson.com with the correct lyrics. Anyone know how to change them? |
Marilyn Manson – The Omen (Damien II) Lyrics | 17 years ago |
First!!!! Anyway, this song sucks as does the whole CD. The first DMX CD and Damien 1 was fantastic. |
Marilyn Manson – Evidence Lyrics | 17 years ago |
OK. He seems to be painting an image of a woman with her mouth around a shotgun while she is fucking him... then he pulls the trigger. This song is definately about Dita and not Evan. He seems to have a grudge against this woman. He pretty much hates her. Wants her dead. Wants her humiliated as well in this song. Powerful song. Just my interpretation. |
Marilyn Manson – Evidence Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Great song. One of my favs off the new album!!! |
Ozzy Osbourne – Gets Me Through Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Definately about his fans... may have a double meaning for his wife as well. |

"i learned it all by rote " What the hell is that??? |
The Bravery – Tyrant Lyrics | 18 years ago |
The lyrics: A face like an iron fist That I can never resist I learn the ... are incomplete, anyone know what is said after the "I learn the..." part??? |
Avenged Sevenfold – Bat Country Lyrics | 18 years ago |
like everyone said, definately about Fear and Loathing portion of Thompson's life. Great song!!! |
System of a Down – Violent Pornography Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Message of this song s rather clear... damn good song, prolly my favorite on the new CD. |
A Perfect Circle – Imagine Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Song rocks, APC made it better! |
Metallica – Fixxxer Lyrics | 19 years ago |
I think this song is about a loss of relegion that he wants to find again but is afriad too. |
A Perfect Circle – Magdalena Lyrics | 19 years ago |
The present day side of this song is about him wanting to have sex with a stripper (NOT A PROSTITUTE). He wants to thorw his money down for a kiss, but he will never get it. With a prostitute he would get it. "I bare witness to this place this prayer so long forgotten" the strip club. "Holiest of alters" The stage "Black Madonna" Referring to the stripper as an imperfect version of perfection. "I'd sell my soul, my self esteem a dollar at a time for one kiss etc etc..." He gives his money 1 dollar at a time at the strip club like most do in a chance that she might begin to like him or see hsi genoroisty and want more then the "business" relationship they have. "So Pure, So Rare" just him building her up in his mind when in fact she is not much different then any other strippers in the minds of anyone else. |
HIM – Heartache Every Moment Lyrics | 19 years ago |
HIM rocks.. I started listening to them every since CKY2K. Definately a great band. This song is sort of like a Romeo and Juliet theme. He cant stand to be away from the woman that he is forbidden to love. Such a good song... |
Limp Bizkit – Eat You Alive Lyrics | 19 years ago |
I thought this song was about Hot Peppers/Hot Salsa and he is hungry but afraid he will get indegestion... Think about it... I’m drawn to you, something’s magnetic here If i could approach you Or even get close to the scent that you left behind I’d be fine: He is in a bar and their are some Nacho chips and some Hot salsa. He wishes he can eat some because it smells so good he is drawn to it like a magnet. But i want you, ain’t nothing wrong with wanting you ‘ cause i’m a man and i can think what the hell i want You got that straight He is trying to work up some nerve to eat the hot salso but he just can't do it. and since he cant eat the hot salsa we get the next few verses... I’m sorry, so sorry (damn you’re so hot) Your beauty is so vain (damn you’re so hot) It drives me, yes it drives me (damn you’re so hot) Absolutely insane He cant eat the salso because its so hot but it looks soooo good that it drives him crazy. I just wanna look at you, i just wanna look at you I just wanna look at you all day There ain’t nothing wrong, no There ain’t nothing with that He knows he cant eat it because he will get indigestion or acid reflux so he tries to persuade himseelf just to look it it instead and then he tries to rationalize and comes to his sense in the next verse... Once you seep in under my skin There’s nothing, there’s nothing in this world That could wash you away If he eats it, there is no amount of Pepto Bismol or tums that can get rid of the indegestion. Sooo there you go... this song is definately about Fred Durst having a problem with eating Hot Salsa |
Zao – Ravage Ritual Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Definatley my favorite Zao song. I agree with the post about churches full of stained glass and such not being a true house for God. BTW. I love this band, and I am one of those people who have turned away from Christianity and God in general, but thats just my current belief. I do like Zao alot though. Strong lyrics and great music with a strong message. My interest in the bible and in relegions in general (educational wise, not belief wise) is what attacts me to this band. |
Marilyn Manson – Snake Eyes And Sissies Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Best song on Portait IMO. Many things in this song, the above posted summed up the whole song to me. Alot of references to pedohiles (like the rest of portrait) as well as a christ like peter pan. Some violence thown in with some abortion side tones make this a great manson song. Plus one of the best lines in any manson song "Tear the Son out of your bitch..." |
Marilyn Manson – Redeemer Lyrics | 19 years ago |
THIS SONG WAS NEVER WRITTEN BY MANSON, this song was orignally written by Jon Davis and another person who produced most of the music for the MOVIE. However Jon Davis and Korn couldnt do the soundtrack due to label issues so they had other bands do the songs for the CD. This CD is one of the best soundtracks ever. Manson fit perfect into the song. Wathc the bonus features on the QotD DVD for more information about the Lestat songs. |
Marilyn Manson – Spade Lyrics | 19 years ago |
I agree with what Asainfetish said above. I want this played at my funeral and the lyrics given out to everyone at the wake. |
Marilyn Manson – Ka-Boom Ka-Boom Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Definately my fav song on the CD and one of my Favorite Manson songs in General. Song is about the crooked side of fame, the media, popularity, social and economical status. More references in the song then just the ones about beings a "Big Star" and making hits. Plus there is the love refence in the hook "I am so yours" could be about a arrogant celeb and his spouse or could be about an arrogant Celeb giving themselves to their fans. |
Primus – Bob Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Funny about the wedding song in the above post!!! Anyway, it's about a guy who killed himself. I do not believe the guy with the shaved head and Docs is a racist though, just because of Les's style if the guy was a skinhead he would have elaborated a little bit more on that. Im thinking this guy with the docs is more of a Mod then anything, but not a racist. |
Primus – Welcome To This World Lyrics | 19 years ago |
I agree with Natasho above. Good catch on the MacBeth references. I also think this song doenst really refer to things that people "Should" do, but things people are afraid to do in General. Don't be afraid to try some things, we don't need feebleness in this proximity. |
Primus – The Return Of Sathington Willoughby Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Part 2 of a brief skit from a previous CD. Just a song about a fictional politician. Someone of power though, who has influence, not like a governor or mayor or senator. I higher member of government who has influence over the union. |
Primus – Puddin' Taine Lyrics | 19 years ago |
There is a few oDd references in this sonce. I beileve the guy above me is onto somthing with the guy being a know it all. But I believe the guy is not blowing smoke up anyone's ass and really is someone people look up to. There is also the line: 'Cause of all my brother Masons, I'm the quickest with a joke Perhaps the Character Puddin Taine is someone who is repesected in his masionic order since he admits he is a Mason. Or perhaps he is someone to be compared with Paul Bunyun, just a character of tall tales. |
Primus – The Ballad Of Bodacious Lyrics | 19 years ago |
True Story. Bodacious was a Bull on the pro bull riding circuit. Tuff Hedeman went for a rematch with bodacious and during the ride bodacious bucked one time and tuff's face slammed into bodacious's back and broke many bones in Tuff's face. Tuff needed much surgery to reconstuct his face and he still continues to ride but is now one of the few bull riders to where a face protector. |
