Redeemer Lyrics

The hunger inside given to me, makes me what I am
Always it is calling me, for the blood of man
They say I cannot be this, I am jaded, hiding from the day.
I can't bare, I cannot tame the hunger in me

Oh, I say I did and always searching, you can't fuck with me.
So instead you'll taste my pain.
The hunger inside given to me, makes me feel alive.
Always out stalking prey, in the dark I hide.
Feeling, falling, hating, feel like I am fading, hating life.

They say I cannot be this, I am jaded, hiding from the day.
I can't bare, I cannot tame the hunger in me.
Oh, I say I did and always searching, you can't fuck with fate.
So instead you'll taste my pain.

You say your life I'm taking, always bothering me, I can't take this anymore, I'm failing, always smothering me.

You look down on me, hey what you see, take this gift from me, you will soon be me.

Nothing seems exciting, always the same hiding

It's haunting me. It's haunting me. It's haunting me. It's haunting me.

It's haunting me..

This song is undoubtedly about vampirism. First of all its on the QoTD soundtrack (Jon Davis is a genius) all the parts relate to a vampire (from Anne Rice's awsome seriese) hiding from the day, in the dark i hide...you get the point. close to the end of the song its referring to giving the dark gift to someone else, then they dispise you for it because you stole their (natural) life away. the very end is Lestat becoming bored with the same life of hiding and the way of life haunts him. well the songis mostly self explanitory, but maybe if someone didnt get it i helped them P.S. i would do anything to become a vampire P.P.S. Khayman rules (his part in the movie was too small and the actor playing him was too old and ugly)

you spelled VAMPYR wrong

the song kicks ass

actually vampire can be spelt either way...but the "true" vampires spell it "vampyr"

The "true" vampires? Anyway, could you/someone explain this word thing more thoroughly? From where does the word originally come? I have read somewhere about the first notice of the word in a russian text. Then the word was "upir". I know that the word is spelled with an "y" in for example the swedish alphabet, but in the english I have always written "Vampire"...

THIS SONG WAS NEVER WRITTEN BY MANSON, this song was orignally written by Jon Davis and another person who produced most of the music for the MOVIE. However Jon Davis and Korn couldnt do the soundtrack due to label issues so they had other bands do the songs for the CD.

This CD is one of the best soundtracks ever. Manson fit perfect into the song. Wathc the bonus features on the QotD DVD for more information about the Lestat songs.

Ive heard some debate over whether its "Its haunting me" or "Its hunting me" at the end but meh. Me and my friend were talking about him in English today and she said she thinks hes hot. So thats just a bit...scary :P
