As of august 2020, through the entirety of the covid 19 stay at home pandemic this song only has 2 comments mine being the 3rd...crazy This is a beautiful song, in music and lyric meaning. I'd like to ad to the ''And then you take it away..." section "Everyday im fighting because I cant leave it" The drug, he can not leave. Its either addiction or hes in a trip and he cant wake up but hes trying. "Then I feel the weight, then I come back down" He starts to feel the weight of the real world(maybe real world stress? or just the weight of gravity because hes coming out of the trip back into real world physics and bla bla) but he goes back into the trip or maybe addiction(im sure its a trip but you can use both meanings I guess) "I watch from the sides and I try to reach out" At times he might be seeing him self in 3rd person, either judgementally or literally a out of body experience and he tries to reach out to either grasp reality or grab any one to help him wake up. Reach out for help. "Yeah youre pushing me pushing me I can feel it, just a little bit higher" Some one is touching him, litterely pushing him to wake up from his hallucinations...(clearly dual meaning but I stand by my thought of it being a trip) The little bit higher part im not clear about...either higher up out of this mind state into a better thought process or basicly ''pushing up a hill'' if you will... ''Climbing on people cause ive been blinded" Well if youre halucinating you are not seeing the real world, the true world so in effect youve been blinded. When you a blind fold over some ones eyes they arent blind but they can not see the real world. Just whats on the blindfold...as the same with a hallucination that puts something infront of your eyes so you can not see the real world. "Waiting around..." Still dont know why this only has 5 comments at the time of me writing this, its the best song they have. This song is about a lot, a broken jaw is from saying something you regret and often you are soft spoken afterwards.(but why is he saying this stuff...read on) ''Ive broken it a lot, all the words come out of my broken jaw, i dont know anything but then I act like I know everything'' Hes said a lot he regrets and still does say it, he doesnt know anything but acts like he does. ''Dont wanna talk about it, what do you see when you dream about it, well I have been broke down from my enemies, Im drifting farther from my memories'' He doesnt want to talk about what hes saying(its just coming out with out his control or he doesnt want to explain his meaning behind his words). Some one else is asking what he sees when he dreams about it(hallucinates about it). Hes been broken down from his enemies, his problems, and now hes drifting farther and farther from the reality he once was in, hes in his new reality. ''Then you take it away...'' These lyrics are hard to understand in the song, the lyrics on here don't really sound like what hes saying but thats interesting in it self. The lyrics here state that ''everyday im talking cause i can ready you'' He might be talking to them, trying to get them to hear his voice and wake up from the hallucinations(not a coma, not a bad habbit) Hes up, hes making progress back to reality but then he comes back down...back farther away from awakening. Watches on his sides because hes laying down and cant wake up. ''you tell me whats my name, im the same ive just been rearranged. Smile through a choke inside, yeah Ive been hiding with nothing to hide'' Some ones asking whats his name, to see if he even realizes hes in the real world or in his hallucinations...He says hes the same, the same name...but he is different. Rearranged. He smiles through it but hes choking on the inside because of situation(both people are doing this possibly) Hes been hiding from this problems, which now are what hes reliving in this, and he didnt need to hide them in the first place, the problems were nothing for him to hide. ''Sometimes you find your self waiting waiting for some one to come around and its hopeless hoping to be found. Then it arrives and says 'youre perfect my love' and i know why'' Hes waiting for some one to come wake him up, maybe his past lover, maybe any one...hes feeling hopeless. Hes stuck in the trip. Then some one, something, some sign says ''youre perfect'' you dont need to worry about the problems, or issues that you are stuck on. He says that he knows why they said ''youre perfect''(maybe he thinks they have different feelings than what they really are) but they tell him that he doesnt know why(its not the same feelings) ''just take it away with your mind and heal my broken jaw, youre still my hero, what you need is dying and youre sad'' Take away the pain hallucinations and problems with your mind because everything is truly mind over matter...foster sounds like he says ''you slay my hero'' but thats interesting in it self. What they need is for him to come back from this hallucination but he isnt, hes dying(regressing further into it) and they're sad. |

About some one stuck in a trip, reliving the past and/or in a series of loops...the person wants to help but cant/wont push too hard(for any reason) to help them get out of it. ''I hold your hand when you are feeling mad at me'' because there is a lot of searching and emotional revelations and they might be about that person. "When the monsters wont go, your windows dont close,I pretend to see what you see'' To see their illusions, hallucinations and the problems they are stuck on. He tries to pretend to see to try to understand the situation. "How long will you relive the things that are gone, the devils on your back i know you can shake him off'' How long will they be stuck in this trip, about the past, stuck in the problems and loop and they cant get out of it. Maybe for a reason unkown the person cant figure out how to shake the problems but its possible(hopefully possible) ''Everyday that you want to waste, you can. Everyday that you want to wake up, you can. Everyday that you want to change, I'll help you see it through cause I just really want to be with you'' Everyday longer they are stuck in the trip, wasting time in it he wont rush it. Everyday, anyday, that they chose to wake up from the trip they can and he would like it to be with them. Every day that you want to change, change the problems that you are stuck on, maybe its a habbit they cant break to get out of this trip or to hit a revalation to wake up he wants them to change to do it. He wants to help because he wants to be with ''you'' ''Freedom can make us feel contained, the muscles in our legs arent used to all the walking, i know if you could snap both your fingers you'd escape with me but in the meantime ill wait here and listen to you when you speak or scream'' The users mind cant handle the freedom of the trip, they could be on about anything but they are stuck in that one problem or one group of problems. The user is not use to all the walking(roaming, thought jumping) He knows that if the user could snap right out of it, to make a wish to get out of it, they would if they could. But he has to sit there or be with them through the random thoughts they talk, or the screams... ''the truth cuts us and pulls up back up and seperates the things that look the same, you can fight it off you can fight it off you can...'' The truth that they are trying to seek might hurt but its something they need to realize to get out of this...to hit that moment of awakening...it seperates the things that look the same(you might never realize youre in the trip because things SEEM the same) He knows that they can fight it off...fight it off and hopefully wake up. |
