| Lady GaGa – Scheiße Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| The German gibberish part is her playing around with sounds that sound like German. "madre monstère" for example. | |
| Nine Inch Nails – The Downward Spiral (The Bottom) Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| It's tracks like this that prove how ingenious NIN is. | |
| Jack Off Jill – When I Am Queen Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
I love the creepy piano intro. It kinda connects Clear Hearts Grey Flowers with Sexless Demons and Scars ("Angels Fuck Devils Kiss" ends with the exact same part). This song is epic! JoJ is (was) such a good band. Oh and I agree with those saying this song is about revenge. It's not just the lyrics but the general mood of the song that gives me that impression. |

| Jack Off Jill – Horrible Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| They're not wrong. These are the lyrics from the older recording (on "Humid Teenage Mediocrity"). For example, the chorus on the "Sexless Demons and Scars" version is "Horrible / Everything's horrible / Horrible". The lyrics changed slightly over time. | |
| Kill Hannah – Boys And Girls Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Oops!!! Sorry...didn't see the thing about the Report Thread...I'll go use that right now. | |
| Kill Hannah – Boys And Girls Lyrics | 16 years ago |

And I think it's about how teenagers are afraid of losing their youth so they try extremely hard to enjoy it because growing old would be "the end of the world". I think it's interesting how the chorus changes the line "They dance like it's the end of the world" to "They know that it's the end of the world". Could this be the ones who are on the brink of becoming adults and they think that it's "the end of the world"? That's my thought. I also agree with BlueDove626 with it being about a rave. That's probably one of the ways they take advantage of their youth. |

| Dope Stars Inc. – Nuclear Decay Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
Yeah I think that's what it's about too...really frightening post-apocalyptic visions of the Earth after a destructive nuclear war. I could never really understand the lyrics until I looked them up. They're really well written. These songs have a lot more meaning to me now. |

| Angelspit – Juicy Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
Wow...I find that really cool in kinda gross, masochistic sort of way. That's cool how they connect their songs together with things like that (Organfleisch Poker and Black Wine, "Flesh Stitched On a Frame" and that line from "Scars and Stripes") Angelspit is brilliant. They may have a bizarre medical fetish, but it adds so much to their music. Oh and I agree with Dancing Ferret's interpretation. |

| The Birthday Massacre – Velvet Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| This song apparently was played live while they were still named Imagica, but a studio recording of it was never made. The same is true with "Make Believe". So, unfortunately, that means this song is impossible to find. According to the FAQ on their board, thr short demo tracks that show up on various places on thr web that claim to be this track and "Make Believe" are not really those songs. They're just unfinished demos of other songs. | |
| The Birthday Massacre – Make Believe Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| They like to make their songs reminiscent of childhood things (like childhood toys, as you mentioned). The whole Alice in Wonderland connection is kinda interesting considering the rabbit sort of became their mascot because of nothingandnowhere.com. Childhood versus adulthood is a big theme in their songs, though. | |
| Angelspit – Nurse Grenade Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| He beginning sounds like "As It Is In Heaven" to me. | |
| Angelspit – Meat Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I think it's about succubi. Anyone else see this? | |
| Angelspit – Head Kult Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
I think it's about the past, like wars of religion maybe? They've mentioned that their albums before Hideous and Perfect have something of a historical context. |

| Angelspit – As it is in heaven Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
There are words at the beginning, too. "The evil in these paws starts only when sung Innocent, lifeless, hides the black intent The panic of knowing you cannot run My children cannot sleep through the constant alarms of industry and machines and constant toil of men... The host and I are going insane" http://night-breed.livejournal.com/403107.html Zoog is saying stuff in the background during the song as well, but I can't make it out. |

| Angelspit – Cold Hard Cash Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Anyone have 9 idea what "Kaltes hartes bargeld" means? | |
| The Birthday Massacre – Falling Down Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
I love this song. It's so good! Um..I think it might be about a person who was in a bad relationship or something and now they're leaving it all behind. Or rather, they're still moving at their own speed (metaphorically) while the other is "falling far behind". While they keep moving on, the other will always be "falling down". |

| The Birthday Massacre – Happy Birthday Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
This song was the first one I ever heard by them. Still makes me feel like I'm in a trance...espcecially the Nothing and Nowhere version. The guitars and synth make it sound so dreamy... I don't know if this song is supposed to be taken literally, or if it has a deeper figurative meaning (like maybe what SidViscous has posted?) but it is still awesome. This song was the inspiration for a story I wrote for English class that was supposed to be in the style of Poe. I'd say it worked out rather nicely. |
|
| Angelspit – Let Them Eat Distortion Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I'm not very certain about this one...maybe it's about all those violent video games and horror movies that are designed to be "bringing [hell] here". I don't know for sure. Anyone else got an idea? | |
| I:scintilla – "Toy Soldier" Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
I think this song is something about the horror of war. The verse Clear and hold the land "By killing another man Whose safety do you fight for? Admit that you can't ignore You don't trust those keeping score Write letters to reassure" questions the motives behind fighting a war but they "write letters" to make the people at home (friends, family, etc.) think it's all ok when really the soldiers may not be entirely sure "Whose safety [they] fight for" Also, the repeated lines "Sing of fires Sing of will/Sing to justify to kill" could be about war songs that are designed to glorify war, but really are only designed to "...justify to kill" There are a lot of lines in her that I think show this. The title of the song may be making a statement about how all these conflicts don't even really matter because all who fight are nothing more than "Toy Soldiers". I can't believe no one's commented on this one yet... Anyway, that's my interpretation. Anyone else got an idea? |

| Angelspit – Paint Hell Red Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Destroyx mentions in an interview (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pG92nufwfDU) that this song is about a girl getting her revenge on the "big, bad world". I belive Katheraine has already made this point. Watch the Blipvert. It really is quite informative if you're interested in their song's meanings. | |
| The Birthday Massacre – Video Kid Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
I personally think this song is about kids and video games and how game companies keep coming out with more and more stuff that's really not that different from the old stuff, yet people buy it anyway for their kids and then become addicted. However, I must say I really like uolea's interpretation of this song. That is quite interesting, and surprisingly fits very well. |

| The Birthday Massacre – Red Stars Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
Ahhh!!! My absolute favorite band! Well, anyway...in interviews they talk about how they're songs all have themes of childhood vs. adulthood and stuff like that...so I think the communism part may be a little bit far-fetched...however, it could be right. None of us wrote the song. I think someone mentioned that this song is about Chibi and Rainbow when they were in elementary school and they would get red stars as rewards for something they might have done. That could be possible, however I'm trying to think how that fits the lyrics in some spots... Awesome song though. I LOVE this band! |

| Angelspit – Grind Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
I watched in interview with them where they mentioned this song. Apparently it's about hating your job. ("I am a rabid rat in a salary sacrificed convertible. Paint my boss in tar and set him a light.") But I also agree with FreeYourHate. It probably does have something to do with mindless repetitive routines that humans do through. Over and over again... |
