wow lee kyung-hae is quite an amazing story. Heres my take on it form what i know and from looking at wikipedia: 1. The Wto pushes for trade liberalisation meaning a fall in protection, this means that some farmers can't compete on the global market and cant earn a living 2. Companies like monsanto sell GM seeds at high prices to farmers promising greater yields. Farmers who cant afford it take out debts they cant repay. They also sue thousnads of farmers worldwide for vialation of using the GM crop even if the farmer was unaware they were using it. i also found out "Is it gonna take a martyr to end this charade?" is refering to lee kyung hae as he was seen as a martyr. anyway great song with an even greater message. |

yes this band do rock. loved birds of tokyo since day one. (get it lol, there first albums called day one!). i always thought it was about getting with a girl and perhaps seeing her again. but now that ive see teh lyrics it doesn't quite make sense. i always thought he sang "as you, swallow in my tongue...sounds like the best in store for me" and then i thought it was"so long, see u in a good time" so anyway i dont really know what its about. second verus doesn't really make sense at all. still totally awsome though. |

'I can burn all I earn on some weakness or whim' 'Cash out, cash in debit pins' hes a mark for their marketing plans, perhaps refereing to companies aiming products at people. also what other people said about being in a job, sounds right to me. great song aswell. |

in keidis's bigraphy he mentions that he went over a friends house and was looking in her wardrobe and saw some jacket that he liked. She said he could have it, she gave away the jacket to him coz she wasn't gonna use it or sumthin. Then the book also mentions that the band were jamming and out of nowhere keideis just jumped onto the mike and satarted singing 'give it away give it away give it away now'. Something like that neway. |
