| It is pretty obvious the song is about 2 people that are in a relationship but they got into a pretty bad argument and they both decided that it would be better to just move on instead of be hurt more. So they are on their seperate ways and are trying to live their own lives but they each always seem to collide and bump or somehow end up back in situations together, like a song about fate. This song basically says no matter what if fate or something is meant to be then eventually it will be even if it takes you both a few times to see that you are meant for each other..you will always end up bumping or colliding back into each others life again because it is fate. Eventually towards the end they get back together and finally see that they do in fact love each other and are glad that fate kept colliding them back together. I honestly cant figure out the meaning of this song. It sounds like a relationship ending and then it hits this person like a wall after awhile because he is questioning if it really happened. The other meaning I get out of it is this person is having a panic attack due to social phobia or something. I get the panic attack from the chorus when he sings fast I fade away meaning the panic attack comes on quick and then you start hoping that it ends soon and thats the (its almost over again) part. The Slow I sufficate part also goes along with panic attacks because when your having one you cant really explain whats going on besides feeling like you cant breath for a few seconds after. The cold and broken alone part could be that nobody is around to help because the only person who can get panic attacks to go away is yourself?
