Oh wow after 10 years someone comments :) - thx guys, i guess we all have our options on the "meaning" of this... @[sokorny:20630] - i agree with your comment "our lives by relation are minuscule in time!" and totally agree .. But i thi k the song is trying to say that and more ... @[jaughn1150:20631] - I hear what your saying and your correct , that is part of what the song is saying ... But I stand strong that covenant is taking about religion here ... I'll quote some lyrics and you decide .... | 'imagine your life in a pain amplifier' is a direct quote from 'Dune' - Paul Atraides a young prince, takes a test to see if he is human. Paul later on becomes the Kwisatz Haderach(aka:the one who can be many places at once" Literal meaning : jumping of the path/road/way Hebrew : kefitzat haderech - a means of transportation by holy men). I can only think that the lyrics talks about such a "Holy man" that will fight and reign. | |

Good call BanjoRabbit - the sirens is the females in greek myth - we keep on destroying our planet and each other, and we will destroy ourselves( 'we close our eyes and look in opposite direction we ignore the threats and hope they'll go away we refuse to pay attention to the dangers we create in the name of our fathers we kill our children'), while we're 'dancing to the sound of sirens' - and decieving ourselfs... 'keeping the brain going with microshots' comes from Robocop2 - and it describes hoe we 'patch' the problem instead of mixing it |
