the wind tried to tell us
we failed to understand
we lost our sense of direction
drowned in the desert sand
we left home without notice
no landmark to be seen
the ground died beneath us
the landscape was unclean
as we search for oblivion
we forget to remember
the faint memory of home
far beyond the wasteland
we drank the poisoned water
to hear the serpent speak
he told us of a garden
with the treasure that we seek
as we try to discover
the secret deep inside
there is nothing to be found
only dust in the wasteland
as we search for oblivion
we forget to remember
the faint memory of home
far beyond the wasteland
we failed to understand
we lost our sense of direction
drowned in the desert sand
we left home without notice
no landmark to be seen
the ground died beneath us
the landscape was unclean
we forget to remember
the faint memory of home
far beyond the wasteland
to hear the serpent speak
he told us of a garden
with the treasure that we seek
the secret deep inside
there is nothing to be found
only dust in the wasteland
we forget to remember
the faint memory of home
far beyond the wasteland

Nice one this. I feel it is bout something importat that is lost forever in the search of something with false value.
Wasteland has to do with the creation of the human race, by the sumerian gods. The first paragraph indicates that the wind exposed the sumerian tablets , hidden by die desert sand and drowned by the flood. the serpent is the sumerian god Enki, giving knowledge to the humans, placing the knowledge/secrect within our DNA, for us to discover, the faint memory of home reffers to our alien beginings
That's a very interesting insight Random8. Thanks.
