i find this funy...because its the christians that kill each other over here..its the christains that will stabb you for being a different type of christian, and its the christians that ruined football when they paraded their hatered on our streets. and trust me christians dont take a joke either. all religios have their extremes. you cant judge every follower on a select minority of assholes. you cant just stereotype a religion. and in some ways our western culture is just as corrupt - of not more. |

when we are in a relationship we like to push the other one's buttons. if you take the melody along with the comparisons, there's something comical about this song that makes me think (although it is obviouse that many believe it is about something more meaningful) that this song is simply about having a fight with your other half. basicaly if you provoked me, don't blame me for loosing it. trust me i know the feeling. perhalps he left a girl after she hurt his feelings and she never forgave him? "you seem to forget just how this all started i'm reacting to you because you left me broken hearted" suggests this. i guess if there were any dark undertones to this song it would be the question, what was the effect of the cause? (violence or anything else hurtful) but then again that would probably be me falling victim to my own point. |

i know that there are a thousad differet interpritations of regina's songs. but for me this song of about complete loss of yourself. your favourite song defines you. it fits you perfectly. imagine forgetting the one thing that was so personal to you. you would hate it. each verse interprets a change in someone, wether it being their favourite song, their morals, or what is going on inside their head. think of the noise she makes with her mouth at the end of the song. to me it souds like a heart beat, changing from it's natural pulse. |

i love that the whole song suggests that age is better, that the older person with wisom and experience seems superior. yet the last lines of the song are "Baby when you're old enough, you're not free" i guess it is true that teenagers (including myself) are too self important but at the same time we still have everything to gain out of life - which in my opinion is ok to be exited about. |

"Leaves become most beautiful when they're about to die" reminds me of a poem by W. B. Yeats. The opening line... "The trees are in their autumn beauty" Its the whole idea of heading towards the death of something. In this case love. It is beautiful but it is soon to end. There's almost a sense of defeat to this song. Yet the song itself is so beautiful showing that love still is a lovely thing. |

firstly i feel this song is about a character regina has created and not about regina herself. i totally agree with the idea of the father affecting the outcome of the daughter. the idea of him being a wounded animal definately suggests a tortured past. and the idea of 20 years of snow. well firstly. although this sounds a bit stupid. the idea of snow being cold and icy feels like a reflection of their relationship. and mabey this lack of contact is the cause of her "She's twenty years of strangers looking into each other's eyes" which to me means that she does not have the emotional maturity to understand human relationships and what eye contact with other people can suggest. in addition to this "20 years of clean" to me means that she is a virgin at 20. possible due to her fathers influence or the lack of relationship with her father causeing her to struggle in relationships. also snow is white and covers ugly of dirty scenery which could be a symbol of her innocence and lact of contempt acting as a shield to the insecurities she feels ie the idea of the place being full of dirty old men staring at her. - plus the actual music in this song sounds childish and dizzy which to me suggest a sense of confusion and dissorientation which could mean that she is confused by her surroundings or by the people she encounters. sounds like nonsense but thats what i get from the song. |

| i love this song. it's probably my favourite in the album. it makes you feel good. i think to be honest it's pretty self explanitory. he is having one of these days where everything just feels good. he has everything he needs and he's pretty happy about it. like that feeling when you're with someone and nothing seems to make life terrible because they're around. oh and i love the trumpet at the begining. it reminds me a bit of the jungle book for some reason. =D | |

i've always been intrigued by the sound she makes between the words "i" and "must" it sounds sort of like something has hit her i don't know if it related to the sort of determined attitude of "i must go on standing" almost like she is fighting through whatever has hit her ? to me all of these referances to floods and war could be a representation of her owm attitude to a situation for example someone hurting her or her conflict with another person this whole idea of trusting no one and making a big inpact ( after me comes the flood) could be her way of staying strong in a difficult and hurtful situation. |

this song is beautiful i believe it is about a girl who has met up with an ex husband or boyfriend from the past. they have both changed and her life has not gone to plan. i think the lines "I'm in love with your daughter I want to have her baby I'm in love with your daughter So can I please" is her almost mocking what her boyfriend told her. and the lines "I've gone away don't call me don't write" is her pride as she is unable to admit her life is not as happy as it was when she was with him but i guess its one of those song where everyone gets something different out of it. |
