Frank Sinatra was taking the piss when he would say its the best Lennon/McCartney love song.
That being said, Eric Clapton did the guitar on While My Guitar Gently Weeps, not this one. Hope that clears some things up. |

| The Beatles – Abbey Road Medley Lyrics

"Her Majesty", tacked on the end, was originally part of the side two medley, appearing between "Mean Mr. Mustard" and "Polythene Pam". McCartney disliked the way the medley sounded when it included "Her Majesty", so he had the medley re-edited to remove it. However, second engineer John Curlander had been instructed never to throw out anything the Beatles created, so after the group left the recording studio that day, he picked it up off the floor, spliced 14 seconds of red leader tape onto the final mix reel, and then spliced in "Her Majesty" immediately after the leader tape. The box of the album's master reel had a notation stating to leave "Her Majesty" off the final product, but the next day when Malcolm Davies at Apple received the tape, he (also trained not to throw anything away) cut a playback lacquer of the whole sequence, including "Her Majesty". The Beatles liked this effect and left it on the album.

| Oasis – Heroes (David Bowie cover) Lyrics

An excellent finish to one of my favorite singles. And I do think Noel's voice is a bit off, but the guitar work is great. The original is unbeatable though, it ranks in my top ten favorite songs ever. David Bowie's vocals are hypnotizingly good. |

On the Warchild version (which was slow and acoustic) Johnny Depp played lead guitar. This song sounds alot like Help! (Noel's acoustic cover, at least).
I love this song because its about youth and following your dreams, only to realize they'll probably never come true. Even knowing that, you follow because that's what makes life meaningful. |

I can't stand this song for some reason. Nevermind the length, its just boring. I just hope that the recent lack of good b-sides means the band is saving them for albums. Kinda sucks, I miss 20+ minute Oasis singles, with new songs. This is just an a-side, a short filler, and a live song, clocking in at 15 minutes 15 seconds -_- and thats only because Rock n Roll Star had a long ass outro.
meh, enough ranting though, the song isn't THAT bad. It's short enough for me to listen through it instead of skipping it. To be honest it seems more like a random idea for a song... |

Yeah its been said before, but this song just reeks of Revolution by The Beatles. That's by no means a bad thing, the song turned out good, but I just thought I'd put that out.
And tone down the angst people, is it so hard to turn off your caps lock? |

| Oasis – Help! (The Beatles cover) Lyrics

John Lennon never wanted Help! to be what it was, a fast-paced 2 minute single. If you listen to the lyrics, they're alot darker and emotional than the original recording makes it out to be. Trust me, this is closer to what John Lennon would have wanted it to sound. |

| Weird Al Yankovic – You're Pitiful Lyrics

The original song pisses me off, its just plain retarded. This song was meant to be released for Lynwood, and W&N was written and DICYO were written to make up for its absence. I learned how to play the parody because its just that awesome. |

One of my favorite Weird Al songs, certainly the best single in many many years. I saw him on youtube performing W&N live, and he's a damn good live rapper for a 47 year old white guy. If any other artist has more diverse music ability, I'd like to hear it.
Much better than the original too, in my opinion. I heard this before the original, and loved it from the beginning. A good parody is good in its own right, not just with the original. |

I'd really like to know how you can compare Dragonforce to Oasis. Their genres aren't even remotely similar, and this is coming from a metal fan. Saying a band is better because their guitarist is faster is just rubbish.
That being said, I like the relaxed feel this song has. The lyrics and song title mean nothing at all, which is typical Oasis. Its one of those songs that never grow old. Nice build-up. Paul Weller is awesome, but I think the solo portion could have been produced less. I don't really think of song meanings much when I play Oasis songs, I just play it. This song just chills me out, and that's about all there is to it. |

This is by far my favorite Liam-written song. I still find it hard to believe he wrote it, it seems waaaay out of his league. I hope he writes more songs like this; long, with amazing lyrics. |

About the length, the song seems short as hell when you're actually playing it. I used to play bass and sing on it, and it flied by. Now I do the lead guitar, and its even shorter. Granted, it does drag on in the car, but I think its meant to be played more than listened. |
