Technically paramore is NOT a christian band,(though they are made up of christians, they don't preach their morals.) as well i don't think you can definitely conclude that this is about monarch slavery. I've looked into this, and i can see how it COULD be the case, but considering as paramore has never confirmed this, it could just be assumption. It's definitely a possibility. |

Gotta say.. simple plan has turned things around for themselves. They've matured as a band, and i like the new sound. And agreed nights, MUCH less whiney. Does wonders for them. |

I do love this song. I think he's trying to tell a girl that she's not being who she really is. She's hiding, posing, pretending so she fits in. He's saying that some day he'll be happy he told her this, and that she should stop pretending and just be herself. |

Gotta say. They sound a LOT more grown up. Their sound has matured, it sounds good. I wasn't a huge fan of them before hand, but i really do like this song. Didn't even recognize it as their's at first. And yes, they have even dropped the whiny. Makes them all the better. |

I really do like this song. First time i heard it i really didn't know what was going on, but it still caught my attention. Went back, and looked at what was really being said.. And yeah I gotta agree, seems to lean more towards actually being a soldier at war. |

I think this song can apply to many things.. It's one of those songs that kinda.. I think pretty much everyone has a situation they can apply it to. It just makes me think of how people cover up what they're actually feeling.. It's a great song tho and one of my favourites on the album. |

hmmm this was one of my favourite songs on the album... To me it wasn't just yellowcard trying to be like all the other bands.. And yeah I must say how exactly does the war in Iraq help anything? War may be important in some cases, but in this case it just makes people hate the US. Ok. so I'm not American.. im Canadian. But to me fighting in Iraq is not helping America or anyone else. This song was an attempt to show that people ARE dying. And it does mean something to some people out there. In other words, Bush is killing people for no good reason. The other thing I disagree with is that fact that some people are saying that the youth do not have a say in our world. Well, maybe not at the moment. But who rules the future? Showing these ideals to our future is not necessarily a bad thing. |
