Yes, definitely about the war and what's happening in the country right now. The first part of the song is talking about how all we do is look at the past (9/11) and how the government uses it to keep us in fear of what "might" happen again to motivate us to stay in the war. He's also talking about how the war is for oil. He says you shouldn't feel bad about disagreeing with the war because you're not the only one that feels that way. And like sacrificed mentioned about, he's not telling Bush that he wants to take his place, but to make better decisions for this country. |

This song fucking rules. A great way to end one of the greatest metal albums of the year. This song is definitely about war, possibly the current "war" we are in right now. It's also talking about how our founding fathers would roll over in their graves had they known what this country has come to. Also, it goes on to mention how this war is for the rich man and oil. Finally, it says in the last section how politicians kids will never know what it's like to have to fight in a war. |
