Therapy Lyrics
too many weeds in the flowers
too many pills in the pharmacy now
too many bugs in the shower
there's too much shit in the air we breathe now
there's too much anger inside me
there's too much scarring when i bleed
there's too much therapy i need
there is no god that i have seen
there's too much doubt in my mom's words
there's too much fear in the way she sees life
i wonder if i'm just like her
i wonder if i can make myself right
you try to help
you listen well
you cannot change the way i see
too many pills in the pharmacy now
too many bugs in the shower
there's too much shit in the air we breathe now
there's too much scarring when i bleed
there's too much therapy i need
there is no god that i have seen
there's too much fear in the way she sees life
i wonder if i'm just like her
i wonder if i can make myself right
you listen well
you cannot change the way i see

he talking about the problems he sees with life in the verses and chorus and in the bridge he could be talking to a therapist, girlfriend someone who can listen
Just shows how you are the only person who can cure you..
i agree with mona2091 this song really spoke to me cuz i have problems at home and i am currently seeing a therapist, and it really does make sense, no matter how many pills you take, no matter how much you talk, you cant change somebody unless they wanna change
i love this song sooo much. BrEaK dOwN
too many weeds in the flowers too many pills in the pharmacy now too many bugs in the shower there's too much shit in the air we breathe now
Too many problems. Weeds stifle flowers. Pills make people sick. Bugs scare people. Too much smog.
there's too much anger inside me there's too much scarring when i bleed there's too much therapy i need there is no god that i have seen
Too much pent up anger isn't good. He might be a cutter, and it scars too much so it shows and that's a problem. He doesn't need therapy because like mona2091 said you can only cure yourself. He is an atheist because if there was a God he wouldn't let all this happen.
there's too much doubt in my mom's words there's too much fear in the way she sees life i wonder if i'm just like her i wonder if i can make myself right
His mom might have had therapy so she might be mental. He's wondering if he's mental too. He can make it better.
theres too much anger inside me theres too much scarring when i bleed theres too much therapy i need there is no god that i have seen
you try to help you listen well you cannot change the way i see
Referring to the therapist. I know what he's talking about. SOOO ANNOYING!
theres too much anger inside me theres too much scarring when i bleed theres too much therapy i need theres no god that i have seen
This song is the bomb! I love it.
I think it has to do with his past and seeing too much as a child. Maybe it scarred him for life, and he resents is mother for the things she put him through, and now, as an adult, he see himself becomming more and more like her.
He's talking about the problems with life, and how he hopes he isn't turning out like his mother. He says he should see a therapist, but he knows that one won't do any good. He knows he's the only person who can help himself.
There are too many problems in his life and he needs a way to cure them. He doesn't turn to god, because he doesn't believe in god. He also thinks that seeing a therapist is stupid, so he needs to cure himself.
verse 1.. talkin about how there is a lot of problems in the world and it seems to progress into problems of his own in verse 2.. It seems (from this song and a few other SES songs) he does not want to follow in his parents footsteps.. this verse(well, most of the song) could be talking about religion, his parents could have been religious and he thinks there is a fault in what she is learnig and preaching, religiously.. then he questions if he is right.. CHorus.. He is angry becaue is is confused.. :scarring when i bleed" may talk about when he says(bleeds)his atheist thoughts.. He gets ridiculed by believers(suggesting the scaring)
"there is no god that i have seen" seems to say that there is no proof that god exists and the lines: you try to help you listen well you cannot change the way i see
Seems to be backing up his believs by saying "i know you are trying to help and you have good intentions.. but you have been mislead.. i know I am right"
100degrees: i think you're taking the lyrics of the song a bit too literal. youre just reading words and breaking them down. but when a musician writes a song theyre usually using metaphors to tell their feelings. pills dont necessarily make you sick, fyi, but i think he was trying to say in that verse that pills and other drugs are depended on too often by people to solve their problems, when in reality it doesnt solve anything.
I don't really think the songs about him being an athiest... I always saw the 'There is no god that I have seen' he was hoping for a miracle but never got one. This song is amazing, and I can really relate to it.
