Oasis – Pass Me Down The Wine Lyrics

This is meaningful. About the passage of time and pain and sorrow in current life. It's modern sculpture of today's party-life, so accustumed to ignorance, pain and vanity. Great Liam track. Fantastic! |

I think between the speech of Eisenhower, someone speaks in Russian, but I think that beside the numbers. It says something like: Я Ñ‚ÐµÐ±Ñ Ð¿Ñ€Ð¾ÑˆÐ»Ð° хорошие девочка. Я Ñ‚ÐµÐ±Ñ Ð´Ð¾Ð»Ð¶ÐµÐ½.... |

Audioslave – Out of Exile Lyrics

It trully is about Odyssey. Or rather it shape the sea, the voyage - the Odyssey - as a woman. Then it makes reference to Odyssey's wife - essentially the love of his life. At the end he is back from his voyage and everything is fantastic. However in the real Homerus' work, Odyssey is killed by his own son years after that by his own son of his former lover: the nymph Calypso. Which isn't elaborated in a lyric, but what the hell... The tune is great nonetheless! :)) |

I really like the intro counting by Bonham. Particularly sweet. It's funky song. Generally great rocker, as everything by Led Zeppelin. |

Yeah, but this song needs update, because there are some uncomprehensible lyrics.

I might've known that you'd be tearing up the photographs

Athlete – Chances Lyrics

the song is a killer lingering ballad, though it's bold to put such a song as an opener of the album and I would start with Half Light and then move to Chances. |

Muse – Soldier's Poem Lyrics

It's little reminiscent of "Blackout" from the previous album. Really, really touching song. It has the same acoustic and gentle feel, though it is significantly shorter, though I would lke to see it being developped just like "Blackout" and put some guitar solo distortion. It would fit nicely. Nevertheless the song is fantastic little piece. |

This song quite obviously is dedicated to Coombes' mother, who died between recording sessions. |

I think this song is for old fans of Supergrass. :)) It is brilliant of course as everything of Supergrass. It is similar to their previous works. |

Radiohead – Dollars and Cents Lyrics

I don't imagine the incredibly ingelligent middle class Thom making statements to the lower class. He would have making such statements if he was lower class as them. It sounds a little flat. I think he is making statements to all the people who let themselves be used for money. |

Angels and Airwaves – The Adventure Lyrics

well, dear kid, you must realise that there is a time in every person's life when he hit their 30es and after that he begins to mature as person and individual. The same goes with Thom Delonge, Billie Joe Armstrong and everyone in these bands. The problem is that the chemistry in blink is not working anymore. In Green Day also wasn't working, but these guys back then when they were recording "AI" resolved the issues after months of counselling. I think that blink-guys should've done the same, but... they didn't. I certainly think that I'd like more blink do both albums, but as it seems it's not possible. |
