Definitely relates to youth, and the innocence that gets lost. Reminds me of Dandelion too.
Chris seems to be getting rather nostalgic on us.
I think this is about someone who's life is heading downward with the passing of time, but is constantly being reminded of the good times before things were stressful and dark - a better period of time where there was less worries and problems in the world.

This is a very good song, and it is like an odd blend of "Show Me How to Live" and, well, "Dandelion".
It is EXTREMELY catchy, and it pisses me off too, as I can't get that damn chorus out of my head. :)
Honestly, I have no clue what it's about, so I'll take the easy way out and say it's about drugs!
I know that there was a time when Chris was a teenager when he didn't leave the house for, like, a year (which "Doesn't Remind Me" supposedly relates to). I wonder if there's any connection here.
This cd is off the heazy. I think the solo kicks ass, man. \m/ Overall good song, though.. I'll have to get back to ya on the meaning.

It's a funk tune and I love it. It's... nasty and funky :)).
