I love Song Meanings . Net. I am trying to introduce it to my friends, and increase my own level of participation. Like the Elastica song, "Nothing Stays The Same", I get to work, and work gets done. I see a lack of song lyric, and I seek and find and contribute. I like the direct cause and effect, and it feels good to improve something I care about.

Songs like the Cures' Close To Me, and MDFMKs' Get Out Of My Head are dominant in my thoughts today. Accompanied by songs like Sometimes, by James, Life And How To Live It by REM, and Elasticas' Nothing Stays The Same. Very chaotic time for me, and I don't see that changing. The real challenge is in keeping myself wrapped tight, and not succumbing to surrender.

Been feeling nostalgic of late, and that's not necessarily a good thing, but, it is what it is. Lots of Warren Zevon, Led Zep, and some 80s singles thrown in for (good?) measure. China Crisis, Tin Tin Duffy, K&W, and even some obscurity like Hurrah, Missing Persons, Bruce Cockburn.

Been listening to a lot of Paul Simon, Shriekback, Peter Himmelman, The Wolfgang Press, and Roger Hodgson. Vacsillating wildly from mood-to-mood of late: hoping that working out will help stabilize things.
