Black dick on the table
One ball like a skull
The other ball
like Bullet Bill
Black dick
Black dick
Black dick
Black dick

White ass on the night-stand
One cheek like Jesus
The other cheek
like Hay Zeus
Black dick
Black dick
Black dick
Black dick

Yellow titties on the bureau
One nipple- a volcano on fire
The other nipple-
baking soda
(Put it out out out!)
Black dick
Black dick
Black dick
Black dick

Brown pussy in a racecar
One thrust turns the key
The other thrust
releases the brakes
GO!
Black dick
Black dick
Black dick
Black dick
Dick, dick
Dick, dick
Dick, dick

    My Interpretation

There is always a duality in sex, one part juxtaposes against the other.

"Black dick on the table One ball like a skull The other ball like a bald baby" The testicle that is like a skull is as dead as the skull is, it is inanimate without flesh around it and is as 'empty' as the skull is. It is a statement for the hollow pleasure of solo masturbation. The other testicle is a bald baby, fresh and naive and full of life and vibrancy. This testicle symbolizes the fullness and beauty of making love with another, like a mother suckling her baby.

"White ass on the night-stand One cheek like Jesus The other cheek like Jesús" One of the cheeks loves anal like Jesus loves Man. It is holy and powerful and is as intimate as a prayer, as miraculous as walking on water and as selfless as dying on the cross. The other cheek however appears to be of Latino/Hispanic descent as Jesús is a common first name among the Latino/Hispanic population. We should assume that Jesús is Mexican as Xiu Xiu are from an area with a large mexican community. This mexican buttock keeps to traditional sexual endeavours of his own mexican culture and doesn't like to risk internal bleeding or rectal prolapse. Jesús looks across the river at Jesus having fun and wishes that he would try it, to jump the sexual border.

"Yellow titties on the bureau One nipple- a volcano on fire The other nipple- baking soda (Put it out!)" One of the nipples enjoys pain and is extremely stimulated like a volcano on fire. The other is 'basic', both literally and chemically as baking soda (aka sodium bicarbonate) has a pH>7. Now baking soda does undergo neutralisation with an acid and a bubbly and intense reaction occurs. This basic nipple doesn't enjoy stimulation at all but under the right conditions with the right reactant/lover it will warm to the idea of experimentation. This nipple (base) wants to bond with someone (acid) to experience the explosive power of fondling.

"Brown pussy on a racecar One thrust turns the key The other thrust releases the brakes" A woman's vagina requires more than just one thrust to be turned on and get it going. This verse isn't about a duality. It is commentary on the sophisticated and complex system of female arousal. Many may think that a penis will always make a girl happy, but the woman wants more than the monotonous rhythm of a piston sliding into a cylinder. The man operates a rotary engine but the woman desires a four stroke engine. This verse is about the woman not always getting what she deserves. Xiu Xiu really show their feminism in this verse.

Notice how every verse begins with a different colour of genitalia or erotic organ "black dick", "white ass", "yellow titties", "brown pussy". This brings attention to how we classify pornography and sexual encounters by what race the partner is. Maybe this is because a japanese feels different to a german and each race has a unique coital style that should be celebrated. Or maybe it is because we are racist and we don't see each other as human beings but as sub-species of the human genus. It is ambiguous to whether we celebrate other races or segregate them, both options antithesising the other, almost juxtaposing.

The use of furniture in the lyrics is very interesting also. It goes "table", "nightstand", "bureau" and then "racecar"; the former three being forms of tables where you put things on and the latter being a performance automobile. This could be another reference to the racial differences in sex. The black dick rests on the table being ready for use whenever someone picks it up. The white (possibly latino) ass rests on the nightstand next to the bed as common and easily replaceable as a lamp; white ass is nothing special but it is useful and quite pleasant. The yellow titties rest on a bureau, which is a writing desk. Only the artist and the intellectual can handle the asian woman/tranny and the writer has dominion over her/he/it like a pen to the paper. The artist molds the asian into whatever they desire. The black woman however is a very complicated piece of machinery and very dangerous in the wrong hands. Inexperienced users of the black pussy might die in a violent collision. Drivers with much training and practice can touch her. The black woman is most prized and is the trophy of intercourse as she rips up unworthy riders like an unbroken stallion. The black woman is difficult to replace and easily angered.

The song repeatedly chants black dick like a mantra. The negro penis is the most talked about and most revered penis, almost mythical for is length and girth. Xiu Xiu is making a statement about how important it is in our lives to have a large penis and how stupid we are for doing so. The end of the song removes the black from black dick as a conclusion that our worth isn't determined by our race or dick size but by who we are on the inside.

The music video was posted on pornhub and features adorable cats and shemale and regular pornography. More bloody juxtaposition there.

tl;dr this song is about fuck knows what

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.
