Can't fuck up the budget
I'm blowing
Tough engine
I go locomotive
Got so high
My nigga Jesus notice
He died for my sins
There's no need of foldin
Sorry ladies not the one for commotion
Ima swimmer
I just stroke in yo ocean
Ima listener
I Know that you broken
fuck inna back of the tesla
No worries
no need to control it
Off a pill maybe 2
I need sedatives
Fill the script
Cuz I ran outta medicine
Got so high
I ain't see all yo messages
16 calls and bout 23 text and shit
Reparations
I paid for the damages
I apologize for all my recklessness
Got so high
That I nearly stopped breathing
You're my rehab
My garden of eden
I'm insane
Mama Think ima demon
Can't hear God
And ik there a reason
Might sound odd
But I don't have a weakness
The best offense
Is still a swift defense
Can't fuck up the budget
I'm blowing
Tough engine
I go locomotive
Got so high
My nigga Jesus notice
He died for my sins
There's no need of foldin
Sorry ladies not the one for commotion
Ima swimmer
I just stroke in yo ocean
Ima listener
I Know that you broken
fuck inna back of the tesla
No worries
no need to control it
Big flurries
My gun fully loaded
Mcflurry
I leave that boa coated
No hurry
Pull off in slo motion
I'm swimming good
While she singing frank Ocean
Keep slanging wood
Like I pop me a potion
Start nodding off
I lost count of my doses
Drowning out
All the violent emotions
Don't have a doubt
Guess I live in the moment
Blow some money
And then they believe me
I been lacking in faith do he see me
She say that im one of the greats
Cuz she fiji
Noone driving the whip
She ride PP
Got my loans
But ain't keep me a receipt
Now im yelling to bro nem
Like free me
Hotter shit on the way
Drop a 3peat
Stay w the fins in my face
You cant see me
And I'm sick of you niggas who biting me
Tell 'em come out, ain't playin no hide and seek
The law pull me over, it's bribery
Me and yall was never a rivalry
And I could show niggas what chicken do
Pull up in a car wit the missing roof
Got birds in the 2 door, a pigeon coop
She top me up, nah we ain't kissing too
I'm all bout a sack like it's laundry day
Got a white plug, Matthew McConaughey
Latina bitch rush me, say "¡andale!"
Say she ain't with games, but Imma play
She spittin' me out like a wine taste
Ain't hit i won't take her on 5 dates
8/29, Ibeen geekin since Friday
Shottas on call so don't pay yo' fine late

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.
