You've got everything you need
Still ready for open up and bleed
Reading all the magazines
Reading all the books
About the real diamond rings
And dirty looks
If you wanna fire baby
That's what you will
Don't say I didn't warn you
Love could kill

[chorus]
So why
You wanna fall in love
Crashing high
You wanna fall in love

You've got everything you need
New York city, Paris if you please
It's not about the fortune
Not about the fame/Once you're
flying higher
Everything's the same
But you wanna fire
That's what you will
Don't say I didn't warn you
Love could kill

[chorus]

The lyrics are wrong, they are actually...

You've got everything you need Still ready to open up and bleed Reading all the magazines Reading all the books About the real diamond rings And good looks If you want a fire baby That's what you will Don't say I didn't warn you Love could kill

So why You wanna fall in love (Fall in love) Crashing high (Crashing high) You wanna fall in love

    Come on

You've got everything you'll ever need New York City, Paris if you please It's not about the fortune Not about the fame Once you're flying higher Everything's the same But you want a fire That's what you will Don't say I didn't warn you Love can kill

So why (Why) You wanna fall in love (Fall in love) Crashing high (Crashing high) From high above (High above) Tell me why

Reading all the magazines and books About the real diamond rings And good looks So you want a fire That's what you will Can't say I didn't warn you Love could kill

So why (Why) You wanna fall in love (Fall in love) Crashing high (Crashing high) From high above (High above) Tell me why (Tell me why) You wanna fall in love (Fall in love) Crashing so high (Crashing high) From high above (High above) Tell me why (Crashing high, high above) Crashing high (Crashing high, high above) You are crashing higher

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
