sounds to me, though, that the line is "the blade on your skin is what matters to me"--especially in the live recording.
the infliction of pain upon the other person described here, though violent, is also perversely beautiful ("as you look into her eyes" makes it personal, meaningful). also, one cannot escape the sexual reference--the the "pressure within," the phllic knife etc. so freudian. depending upon ones preference, this can mean violent revenge or sex. or both. whatever you fancy...
