It is about not being able to express his true feelings, of hiding his true self to the World that surrounded him, and the loneliness that comes with it. He tries to find the courage to say to another person how he feels about them, and failing every time because he is terrified of how they will react. As a consequence, he is still paralyzed, watching the days passing by and dreaming of what he cannot have. The last verse is his mind secretly begging to the other person to do something, to make any kind of move that gives him a hint that he has a chance. But in the real world, he still hides how he feels, still paralyzed and still wondering if he has lost his opportunity forever, as time goes by.
