The lyric was probably written by me back in 1990/91, when I was a student at Evergreen State College, at Olympia, in Washington/USA. Met there the Bikini Kill girls, and especially Kathleen Hannah, and Tobi Vail. Got to know Kathleen and Tobi better, and had some relationship play with both of them. "Rebel Girl" was dedicated especially to one of them. Can't remember which of them, contemporary, hehe. Valued both equally, but possibly in different ways. Who I am? I am Martin Vikene (b.1975), back then my name was Morten Taraldsvik.
