I wonder if "Stargazer" could have been another word for a type of groupie, possibly a girl/woman with quite beautiful eyes. I believe I wrote these lyrics when I was backstage with "Mother Love Bone". May have met several girls/women there, including Xana, then refers to "Ohh, Xana come back again". The meetings with these girls/women may have been combined with drug use, referring then to the stanzas "Stargazer you call the shots and I'll take all - Stargazer won't you kick with me, please"....

You are right. The song is not just about Xana. I know for a fact. It was a mixture of lovers, the drug and the fact he was better with Xana.
