Bearded as every respectable beer should have a beard and pearled because when you serve it at the perfect temperature it pearls on the glass. He is Irish u know ? I'll bet a horse on it that he often asked a bearded lady at the pub and that he received a beer. It also makes sense when he speaks that it was his home while he lived from town to town.
