this song is not only about depression, but about the putrid social environment we are living; apathy, egoism. by listening to the lyrics i can sure tell whoever wrote this stopped one day to think, "why do i still try?", considering no one else seems to care or worry about having a decent behavior toward others, nor the events that affects us as a whole. you feel like a stone against a strong, unstoppable flowing river.
there's no much to explain about the lyrics that encompass depression as it's pretty explicit. easier to understand if you've been there. having a mess in front of you and being unable to organize it, as it just grows and grows without giving you the chance to make a move. it lasts as long as it possibly can. you can't help but feeling it's really gotten out of your hands.
i personally long for this to end, but not by dying. i want to be happy and live this chance i've been given. it's just as hard as you can think
