Long Lyrics

I did not exactly see this as specifically religious but rather a comment upon our collective laziness and complacency. I read an interview with Pete Loeffler regarding the album and he stated that the end is that we have to leave Earth (I agree that we either leave and populate outside of our home planet or we die with this world) and the 'view of Mother Earth from other worlds' is a strong image of looking back home after you have left. However, the part that really gets me is the line 'get up, you can and you will'. To me it seems like a call to find our purpose and stop being comfortable with who we are and aspire to a greater purpose. Admittedly, the lyrics do ring true with religious themes as well, I just didn't take it that way after reading the interview.

My Interpretation

@eric104861 You're right in what you say about the lyrics of 'So Long, Mother Earth', but page is supposed to be for a song from their debut album, Point #1, called 'Long'. Looks like the lyrics got switched out by mistake lol
