Fill you with lust, these sad eyes hurt no more
There's fire down below 'cause time is now your bitch

So with miles and miles to go, you never left
Or found your purpose
Get up, you can and you will
Time is so vast and risky as hell

How dare we? Time is vast as hell
How dare we?

So long
Another view
Of Mother Earth
From other worlds
Imagine it

Connect, well, I hope you like yourself
Connect, such a perfect mind should know
Sold by this calm soulless beast
Fast as this rat comes to feast

So with miles and miles to go, you never left
To find your purpose
Get up, you can and you will
Life is a task and scary as hell

How dare we? Broken damaged souls
How dare we?

So long
Another view
Of Mother Earth
From other worlds

So long
So what advice
To Mother Earth
You other worlds

Through those eyes
Through those eyes

So long
Another view
Of Mother Earth
From other worlds

So long
So what advice
To Mother Earth
From other worlds
So long

General Commentthere is no such thing as "anti-god" music. only a few ignorant religious pieces of crap dredged that bullshit up.

General CommentGreat song! This is one of the only Chevelle songs that is openly christian. My favorite part of the song is "And the rhyme you've hidden in, wont keep long" Hardly any if not all of Chevelle's songs don't really rhyme. I think this song is a message to anyone who listens to 'anti-God' music.

General Commentjust a question... if this is about welcoming religion and goes out to people who listen to 'anti-God" music... then what is skeptic about?

General CommentHit the bottom and separate spiritually from the self. God is not lost here but found. Find God in despair. Closer but further accepting crust to eat. The pull of the soul back to God drags you along. And we look for someone to blame for the the misery. God wont leave us alone in the cold but will give us a place all our own.

General CommentI think it is kind of saying he does beleive in god and everything he is tired of people blaming religion for their suffering because religion also leads to their happiness. Thats what I get from it i mean i am not a huge christian but I still am one even though it isn't as important to me as some other things. Awesome song though cool acoustic parts.
