What the artist means On ‘invisible string’, Taylor begins with alluding to innocent times when she was going, green and in love. She's talking about a past fling or crush and she's crooning over a bare instrumental. She's being so nostalgic here talking about an invisible string, her voice is so pure on this and she sounds like she's missing something. It looks like she's reliving better or worse times, you cannot be quite sure with this blonde superstar. Here she's imploring listeners to listen more than once and devoid of distractions to grasp all the gems in this as she talks about demons and past mistakes. The production of the track is incredible as she thinks about a few boys that broke her hearts but now she's the bigger person and she's sending their babies presents. What a flex! Her crooning voice is one for the ages and she sounds so powerful and in tune with her superpowers on this track.

What the song means to me The song has so many hidden gems, it's basically the epitome of Taylor's growth over the years as an artist. There is a sense of strength and maturity on this track and it sees her transform from a bitter ex-lover to a woman that is in control of her immediate and extended environment. She's no longer bitter, she's positive. She's no longer sad, instead she's quite content. It's so amazing seeing one of your favorites grow before your very eyes and luckily for us we're seeing Taylor Swift do just that. The song makes me feel at ease and pushes me to try and be the bigger man and a better person. I will give this song a rating of 9/10.
