Im not saying Sully had that issue but i watched an interview with him and he was asked where does his lyrics come from. His responce was relationships and life experiences. A time in my life i am fighting addiction myself and feel alone with no meaning to live. Wanting desperately to feel a connection his lyrics feel all to real for me. His lyrics have given me an understanding ive never had before. Its given me the want to and strength to battle my own. If there is going to be anything physical on this earth that has given me something to save myself from temptation its his lyrics.
