To me this song is about a person who believes they're condemned to forever walk a crooked & cursed path. Someone who feels they can never free themselves from the confines of their own dark, demented thoughts. Makes me think of a serial killer such as Manson or just someone who is do detached from reality that they don't even know who they are or what's real anymore.
