To me this song is about someone who has lost faith in ever finding someone who will accept & love them as they are. No matter what their flaws may be or if they have health issues, mental illness or whatever else, they believe no one will love them fully or completely as they truly are. They have lost so much faith in fact that they have turned to drugs perhaps & even lost faith in God. The song is a plea to anyone who's ever experienced that type of low to not lose faith, it also is a plea to those to not judge others who are currently at such a low point in their lives.
