Janis Joplin was so far ahead of her time, and so unique as well.
I cant think of anybody who even comes close. maybe Amy Winehouse,
but even then they are still worlds apart...I wonder if there will ever be
another singer with even a fraction of her depth....every time i listen to
any of her work, I hear something new that I hadn't caught before..
truly amazing to this day....
