oh, i agree.... i watched the woodstock-3 days of peace&music the dvd..they showed her performing this song and i cried. whenever she sings you can just feel her. it's like you've know her all your life...it's crazy and amazing

yeah it's incredable how full of emotion her singing is...even when you just listen to it she can touch me deep down in my soul and make me cry my heart out...just couse you can so so much feel her pain trough the music...
Janis Joplin was so far ahead of her time, and so unique as well. I cant think of anybody who even comes close. maybe Amy Winehouse, but even then they are still worlds apart...I wonder if there will ever be another singer with even a fraction of her depth....every time i listen to any of her work, I hear something new that I hadn't caught before.. truly amazing to this day....
